Review : It took me a little while to get used to this lens on my Nikon D200, perhaps because I started using the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D lens at the same time, but I wasn't comparing like-for-like. This lens has grown on me and is now indispensable. If you want a one-lens solution for 80% of everyday situations, this is probably it. I've heard that the lens works on tripods better with VR turned off, too, but haven't tested that, yet.
