Wow...September is always crazy with the announcement of new models from all manufacturers, and this year is no exception

Nikon has announced a new mid-range model, the Nikon D90, to compete against the Canon 40D. Not to be out-done, Canon announced the new EOS 50D, 15.1 megapixel. Canon have also confirmed they have another model waiting in the wings, which will be officially announced very soon. We expect this will be an update to the full-frame EOS 5D in response to Nikon's new D3 and D700 full-frame SLRs.

Canon and Olympus have also announced their new digital compact cameras ahead of the pack.
