3.0" Vari-Angle LCD Display

For the first time on an EOS Digital Camera, the EOS 60D boasts an impressive 3.0" LCD Dispaly. With a resolution of 1,040,000dpi, anti reflective and smudge resistant coating, viewing images from any angle will be bright, colourful and clear.

In-Camera File Conversion And Editing

Also a First for Canon, the EOS 60D features in-camera file conversion. Allowing you to convert your raw image files to JPEG, without the need for a computer or third party file conversion software. The camera does this without effecting any of the original RAW data. Images and video footage can also be resized within the camera. High resolution images can be set to a lower resolution within the camera allowing the user to upload files immediately  to a social network.

Creative Filters and in-camera Raw image editing have also been implemented in the EOS 60D. This allows the photographer to get creative and enahnce the image on the job without the need for a PC or editing software. Very Similar to the filter effects used in the Powershot series. These effects include: Soft Focus,Toy Camera, Grainy B&W and miniature effects.

Full HD 1920x1080 progressive

The EOS 60D is capable of capturing video in Full HD progressive mode. 1920x1080 resolution with multiple frame rate options (24p, 25p and 30p). Similar to the 5D MKII, the EOS 60D features manual control for exposure and audio levels in 64 steps in movie mode. Canon has also added a wind filter in the audio controls to elimate noise generated by wind.

In camera movie editing is also available with the 60D. The user has the option to shorten the length of footage, remove segments or unwanted portions and increase magnification by 7x within the camera, again eliminating the use of a computer or video editing software. This is acheived by cropping the image directly from the CMOS sensor at full resolution insuring the original image quality is preserved.
